That is genuinely more useful than guessing from the product listings, because the answer depends on your local water hardness — and quite often the answer is the cheapest product in the range.

Useful things to mention:

• Whether your complaint is taste, limescale, capacity, or a specific substance.
• How many people are drinking from it.

• The clear width and height of that space, if it's tight.
